Few fundamental works in the field of the globin genes expression became classical and had been cited in many books devoted to the hematology since 1994 and until current time. I do think that knowledge and education are the most exciting and useful spheres of a human life. We are, Tatiana Molchanova & Rex Learmonth, presenting you the new book: “Learmonths-Lermontovs. The Origins & History of the Surname and Family: 1057 – 2007” North Bethesda, Maryland USA – Russia & Rawdon, Yorkshire, UK , 2007 Copyrights are preserved at the Copyrights Office, Library of Congress, Washington DC, USA, 2007. This is the first detailed studies of the ancient Scottish Clan Learmonth and the noble Russian Lermontov family, originated from Learmonth in 1613. Our narration is about decent Scottish and Russian families who had common ancestor about thousand years ago. Among Learmonths and Lermontovs were ordinary people as well as martyrs, prophets, poets, composers so legendary persons. Their hereditary is preserved in the Great Britain and in the Russia. The last forty pages of the book present the photos of the united Scottish-Russian Clan Learmonth-Lermontov at the celebration of the 950 Universary of the Learmonth-Lermontov Surname in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Russia, in August 2007.
